A Simple Three Step Guide

“In April 2024, US president Joe Biden signed into law the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, which is an effective ban or forced sale of TikTok from its parent company ByteDance.”

Have you been building and growing your business on TikTok?

❌ With the possibility of TikTok being banned in the US, many content creators are in a panic.

💯 But, if they’d been repurposing their content to other platforms, then they wouldn’t be so worried.

If you’re starting to panic, here are three simple things you can do.

1️⃣ Lead your followers to sign up to your email list. This way, you can communicate with them off social media. YOU have control over your email list, no one else!

2️⃣ Build your own website. Again, you have complete control over the content you post on your website, whether you treat it like a blogging platform, or somewhere to sell your products and services.

3️⃣ Repurpose your content to other platforms! This way, you aren’t dependant on just ONE platform. Plus, you will be reaching a brand new audience. You don’t need to be on ALL the platforms, just choose an additional 1–2 and concentrate on them for a few months.

Relying solely on one platform is the number one reason why you should NEVER build a business on rented land. One day it could all be ripped away from you.
