Struggles of Gaining Weight No One Talks About
Mission: Gainpossible – Still under 50kgs and Counting😕
Everyone’s out here trying to lose weight, cutting carbs, dodging sugar like it’s an ex at a party.
And I get it, I really do—weight loss is a journey.
A long, tear-filled, salad-eating journey.
But let’s talk about me, the under-50kgs club president (whatever that is in American—like, two potatoes?).
I’ve tried everything to gain weight. And I mean everything.
- Junk food? Ate it like it was a full-time job.
- Peanut butter? Let’s just say, my bloodstream might be 30% Nutella.
- Appetite pills? Took them. I ate like a starved bear coming out of hibernation. Still didn’t gain a single gram.
- Midnight snacks, 3AM meals, eating in my dreams? Check, check, and check.
I’m convinced my metabolism is running a secret triathlon every day while I sleep.
Now, before you say “Have you tried the gym?”, let me stop you right there.
I am committed to this body, yes. But not gym-committed.
I don’t want to wake up feeling like a truck ran over me just because I picked up a dumbbell.
Meanwhile, my friend won’t eat after 8PM because she “wakes up heavier.”
I could eat a whole cow at 11:59PM and wake up looking like I skipped dinner.
You know it’s serious when the blood bank looks at you and says, “Thanks, but no thanks.”
Apparently, I’m so underweight even my blood is on a diet.
So if you’re my friend—sorry, but in a medical emergency, I’m more of a moral supporter than a blood donor.
So yes, I’m taking all weight-gain advice.
If you’ve got secret grandma recipes, voodoo chants, or rituals under a full moon, I’m listening.
I am here with my notebook waiting for all the tips.
