Do Not Wait, Create

The thought is that chasing after things makes them feel further away. Waiting for things to happen can feel the same way, too. Living the professional freelance life, waiting to hear back about a client’s proposals can feel like an eternity. The ego will keep you stuck thinking, Wait, because it will happen. Do not take on any more work because this is a long-term engagement. A pearl of wisdom: “Clients will never be on your schedule.” Last year was a hard lesson, as that long-term engagement did not happen. The lesson is, “Do Not Wait Create.” Keep sending out the proposals, create content, learn something where you will see the ROI later, and lastly, it is healthy to take a break.
