Grace Fowlie – Digital Marketing Executive – Raith Rovers
Grace Fowlie – Digital Marketing Executive
Monday July 31st 2023
We are excited to announce Grace Fowlie as our new Digital Marketing Executive at Raith Rovers Football Club.
Grace has been a Raith Rovers supporter since she was seven years old, attending her first match with her Dad, James, in the 2007/08 season.
From that moment on, she fell in love with the team and has been a season ticket holder ever since.
While pursuing her studies in Communication at University, Grace moved to Mississippi on a soccer scholarship. Despite the distance, her passion for Raith Rovers remained strong, leading her to volunteer for the club.
Initially she contributed to the match programme, and later, she took charge of managing the team’s social media channels throughout the entirety of last season. Working with RRFC Digital Director Ruaridh Kilgour, Grace will be responsible for overseeing our day-to-day digital strategy, ensuring that Raith Rovers maintains clear and consistent communication with our supporters.
Ruaridh commented: “I believe this is our first-ever Digital Marketing Executive hire at Raith Rovers Football Club. We received a lot of application for the role, including several highly experienced candidates.
However, since my appointment at the beginning of May Grace has consistently proven herself to be the ideal person for this job.
Notably, Grace’s unwavering passion for Raith Rovers and her incredible work ethic (as demonstrated during her time as a volunteer), set her apart from other candidates.
Moreover, she has exhibited an impressive willingness to learn and adapt to our new digital strategy.
Grace’s journey is a brilliant example of the opportunities available to volunteers at Raith Rovers Football Club. It’s a chance to be involved with the club you love, while also building and honing skills that could potentially lead to paid positions in the future.
We hope to have a RaithTV interview with Grace soon where she will explain more about her time as a volunteer and what her new role will involve”.
