Midland creative marketing agency AMPM announced today that Ty Smith has been appointed President and CEO.

He succeeds Mark Bush, who is stepping down at the end of the year after serving a dedicated 43 years with the company.
Smith has been with the firm for more than 25 years, serving as Creative Director since 2003. In his new leadership role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the creative agency’s business spanning its branding, experiential design and digital marketing activities.
During Smith’s tenure, the company has grown strong relationships with key clients including Dow Chemical, GM, and IMARK Group, as well as serviced major brands such as Styrofoam, TOP TIER and DeVilbiss. In recent years, AMPM has also worked with DuPont, AAA, Haydon, SVSU, Consumers Energy and more.
AMPM has been decorated with special awards in writing, film production, branding and digital marketing, recently earning more than a dozen American Advertising Federation awards including Best of Show and two Judges Choice awards in the 2023 competition.
