There’s nothing worse than staring at a blank page when you need to write something. Or constantly scrolling through Instagram trying to find inspiration.

There has to be a better way to find content ideas.

Well, guess what? There is. Allow me share some ways to help you come up with new content ideas for your blog post, social media platform, podcast episode or Youtube channel.

Google it!

Start with Google, I mean they say that Google is your friend, right? Enter your keyword into the Google search bar and let the drop-down suggestions give you ideas for new content. This will tell you what others are searching for. Using these examples will help you establish yourself as the expert in your niche.

Content Idea Generators

Content idea generators are amazing tools for those moments when you find yourself lost for words or ideas. Content idea generators can come up with keywords, topics and titles to help get your creative juices flowing.

Here are some of my favourites:

Copy.ai

Copy.ai is one great idea generator. Simply enter your niche, then your topic ideas, and press submit. The generator will give you 5 related content ideas.

Ahrefs

Ahrefs has a free AI Content Idea Generator and it’s pretty good too! All you need to do is:

1. Enter your niche topic
2. Choose your platform (Instagram, Blog, Youtube etc)
3. Select from 1, 3 or 5 ideas
4. Choose your tone of voice (formal, friendly, casual etc)
5. Click Generate Ideas.

Easy peasy! Once you have your results, you can export them as a Text file, or copy them.

NeuralText

NeuralText is a very basic idea generator tool, but it’s also quite accurate. Simply enter a topic and click generate and you’ll receive your ideas in the window on the right. Copy those ideas to your clipboard.

ChatGPT

If you haven’t used ChatPGT, then you’re getting left behind. ChatGPT can help you come up with all sorts of great ideas. But, a word of warning: be sure to edit those ideas into your own voice. There are too many blog posts out there that have been written entirely by AI and they are becoming so obvious and so damn boring.
