How I Sell My Productivity (you can too)
Up to $500K in sales
I’m supposed to write a shocking/attention-grabbing intro, but who cares? It’ll probably be lame.
Let’s jump right in.
The first way you can sell your productivity is by becoming a coach.
It follows a simple process,
- decide you want to coach
- find some way to prove you know what you’re doing (which you probably don’t)
- do a ton of marketing
- make a ton of money
But, there’s one problem, it’s not so scalable. You’d have to start charging clients tens of thousands.
But it still won’t cut it.
Why?
Because you need to input your time (which you cant get more of). There’s only so many hours a day.
Here is the better way.
Step 1: Start using Notion.
Notion is a productivity software that helps you think, declutter, schedule and be productive.
It’s completely free and has many integrations.
First, start using Notion, familiarize yourself with its environment, and use it to solve daily problems.
You can sign up here. (that is my affiliate link and I’d earn a commission if you pay for premium)
Step 2: Highlight painful problems that Notion has helped you solve and make a list.
This is why the first step is so important. There is a high chance that others face the same problem you face daily.
Step 3: Ask ChatGPT for validation.
There are so many problems we have in common but, there are only a few we would pay to solve. I mean the really painful ones that keep us up at night.
This is where our trusty friend chatGPT comes in.
You can simply use this prompt.
Hey, I want to start a business that solves problems for people. Here is a list of what I’ve found.
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
Item 4
I want you to evaluate each of these problems and rank them based on the following.
1. How painful they are.
2. How likely people are to pay to solve them.
3. How common they are in society.
Thank you 🙂
Make sure you always say thanks to ChatGPT. So it can spare you in case of an AI world domination.
Step 4: Build a dedicated template for the top answer ChatGPT gives you.
You’d probably have a dedicated spot for it on your Notion homepage.
All you have to do is cut out the feature that solves a problem for you and make it into a page of its own.
E.g. duplicating your calendar/scheduling integration with Google and making it a habit tracker.
Step 5: Launch it on the web.
Step 6: List it on a marketing site like Gumroad or Payhip.
There you have it, how I sell my productivity in a scalable way -Digital products.
