I tallied up my income from digital product sales and it’s just under $90K. I cannot believe it. Last time I checked it was around $70K.

I’m going to break down everything so I can share my honest experience and tell you how to start and what to look out for, if you decide to venture down this road.

How I got into digital products?

I’ve known about this for a while and secretly, it’s been a dream of mine to run a digital products business.

Going back to January 2024 when I started, I remember seeing content creators on TikTok talk about digital marketing.

It’s basically about using the internet to promote and sell products. And they were all selling digital products.

• Guides

These are some of the digital products that exist that you can create and sell.

I jumped in and I’ve taken these courses since I’ve started…

2. UBC
3. SWC
4. DBA
5. The Strategy
6. The Formula

I’ve also taken a handful of guides as well including buying beginner courses specifically for my audience, like Academy Six DM, The Sales Society and others.

Why so many courses?

Each one is a little different.

When I first started, there were a few major players in digital marketing.

About 4–5 courses and from that, I chose the best I thought would be for me, which was Roadmap.

It’s an awesome course and has evolved and grown a lot over the years.

• Roadmap teaches you how to launch and grow a business
• You will learn digital marketing strategies
• There’s a huge community where you can network and mingle with other Roadmap students

Roadmap was great and helped me make first sales. But, it wasn’t quite for me, because I already had a business background, which is a lot of what it teaches.

So, I didn’t learn as much as I thought.

UBC was next and really moved the needle for me. I wanted to grow on Instagram and with UBC, I learned strategies to attract my target audience and grow from zero to over 8,400 followers.

Since then, I’ve been invited to join the Meta Bonus Program, thanks to my IG and TikTok accounts and now I get paid for the reels I make!

SWC and DBA were next and these are great for multiple income streams. If you know me, you know I have a multifaceted business…

• Content
• Digital publishing
• Amazon reviews
• TikTok Shop
• Website flipping

I do a lot of different things in my business. SWC and DBA teach this. I teach the website flipping module inside SWC.

You don’t need all of these.

If I were to recommend one, it would be Roadmap for people brand new to business and need a hand holding when it comes to operations, business, customer service, marketing and automations.

UBC if you want to do digital marketing and only digital marketing. You want to get really good on social media and grow your accounts really large.

It would also be SWC, for multiple income streams, perfect for people who want to do digital marketing, put that on autopilot and pursue a 2nd or 3rd income stream.
