From Lomé to Basel: My Journey as a Woman in Digital
My name is Sakinatou Seyifou. I was born in Lomé, Togo, in 1983, into a family shaped by resilience and social commitment: my father was a doctor and political refugee, and my mother was a market vendor.
I grew up in France, spent a short chapter in Scotland, and finally settled in Switzerland in 2016, where I chose to carve out my path in digital and communications.
🎯 Finding My Place in Innovation
For over a decade, I’ve worked in the world of digital marketing, recruitment, and visual communication.
What drives me? Building bridges between people and technology, between brands and the stories that need to be told.
I’m passionate about content creation, video, branding, and I’ve contributed to large-scale projects in employer branding, social campaigns, and visual storytelling.
I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with consultants, HR teams, and sales departments, designing activation strategies on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta and TikTok.
🎥 Between Image, Voice and Purpose
I’m not just a digital expert, I’m also a purpose-driven content creator.
During the COVID pandemic, I published a meditation audiobook, born out of a deep need to create inner space during a time of isolation.
I’ve also taken part in entrepreneurship competitions and youth empowerment programs, including an international initiative led by ManpowerGroup.
💡 Local Innovation, Real Impact
I was among the first to introduce innovative formats in Switzerland, such as the Digital Interactive Card, a physical support linked to interactive content and automated video formats like StoryBox, helping companies become more autonomous in their content production.
🎨 A Multifaceted Life Rooted in Creation
I’m a multifaceted woman: a proud tech lover, deeply inspired by visual art, sewing, music, and yoga.
I believe in the power of color, stories, and simple gestures to help build a world that is more just and more sensitive.
🤝 Sharing, Always
I’m sharing this testimony because I deeply believe in this:
We can chart our own path in innovation without losing sight of our values.
Authenticity, creativity, and curiosity remain our best tools for moving forward.
