DOOMSDAY or the BIGGEST opportunity since the internet?

Lets discuss..

Well, it’s certainly true that we are living in a time of unbelievable technological advancements, BUT few developments have been as transformative as generative AI and machine learning.

So lets break it down in human english.

Generative AI is a robot that is fed millions of data points (information) and when you instruct it (inputs) it scans its database and uses the knowledge to generate content. Over time it learns and gets better at producing answers.

Chat GTP is the latest tech that has shaken the world, people are starting to prepare for judgement day.

Fear that this tech could take jobs and end the world is a legitimate fear when you san see the power of what these tools can do.

So why is it making news worldwide?

ChatGPT spits out well researched content in seconds that would take a human hours to perform.

It’s also had record breaking user acquisition 🤯

Time it took to reach 1 million users:

Netflix — 3.5 years
Facebook — 10 months
Spotify — 5 months
Instagram — 2.5 months
ChatGPT — 5 days

So why are nerds like me excited?

This is the next phase of technology, for content creators, business owners and marketers.

But perhaps even more exciting is the potential for generative AI and machine learning to help us solve some of the most pressing challenges facing our world today. From climate change and healthcare to poverty and education, these technologies offer new tools for understanding complex systems and developing innovative solutions.

Data driven solutions without the risk of human error?

Such a smart way to tackle some of these major issues by working more effectively and making decisions off actuals vs emotion.

Of course, there are also concerns about the impact of AI and machine learning on jobs and society more broadly.

But ultimately, I believe that the benefits of these technologies far outweigh the risks, and by embracing them with a thoughtful and intentional approach, we can create a future that is both more prosperous and more equitable for all.

If AI is starting to disrupt your industry, don’t be scared.

My biggest tip, have a play with some tools and see if it can make your company more efficient.

The ones who adopt AI now will be ten steps ahead as these technologies start to evolve.
