Astralia Founder Dennis Tuul’s Ideas for an Ideal and Just Society.

I have a dream. A dream of a society of universal prosperity, justice and equal opportunity, a society of care and the all-round development of every person. A society where everyone is important and needed, a society of love and cooperation between people.

Is it realistic to build such a society on our planet, full of wars, suffering, poverty, inequality, exploitation of man by man? On a planet where the eight richest people are richer than the 3.5 billion poor people?

You may think I am a naive idealist, but I am sure that it is possible to build such a society, and all the necessary conditions are ripe for this today.

Of course, with the current economic and power system, such a society is unlikely to be built. We need to start designing the society of the future from scratch. We need a state created on completely different principles.

What it would take to build such a society:

1. We need direct democracy. Direct, not indirect, power of the people. We would like to do away with “representative organs of power,” which sooner or later usurp power in their hands and democracy degenerates into a dictatorship of a single person or group of people. All power should literally, without any reservations, be in the hands of the people. Constantly, 24/7.

2. We must always know exactly what each person’s needs are and understand what we need to do to meet those needs. Ideally, we would like to achieve full satisfaction of every person’s needs. But this is hardly possible in the foreseeable future, so for now it makes sense to set a more modest goal — to meet the maximum needs of each person, given the opportunities that society currently has at its disposal.

3. We must radically increase the efficiency of all processes in the country. We must raise labor productivity many times over, reduce costs and inefficiencies, and seriously increase the efficiency of the entire economy.

These requirements dictate a completely different organization of the state and society, a different economic and political system.

To achieve these ambitious goals, the entire society will have to be digitized. It is necessary that the management of all processes in the country should be initially digital. All information flows should be created digitally. Paper documents should not be digitized — they should not be created at all.

We need a single information environment, a single centralized information system, built not chaotically, but according to a carefully designed plan. Deeply thought-out, well-protected, knowing everything about everyone, caring about everyone, thinking about everyone, helping everyone. Allowing all the processes in the country to be planned and organized with maximum efficiency, helping to meet everyone’s needs and unlock their potential.

We need an electronic system at the center of the state, not a single official or government apparatus, but an electronic system that will implement the will of the entire nation.
