Cendyn acquires hotel digital marketing provider WIHP – PhocusWire
Global
hospitality technology firm Cendyn has acquired Paris-based WIHP, a company
specializing in hotel digital marketing and metasearch technology. Financial
terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Cendyn describes
the acquisition as a “key milestone” in its quest to facilitate revenue growth
for hospitality clients by offering services that deepen guest relationships and boost
direct bookings.
“We are thrilled
to embark on this transformative journey with WIHP,” said Jack Blaha, who became CEO at Cendyn in
January.

“The synergy between
both companies is remarkable, and with WIHP’s metasearch prowess, this merger
reaffirms our commitment to driving more demand for our customers’ most
profitable direct booking channel.”
The acquisition
also extends Cendyn’s reach, particularly in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The entire WIHP team will stay on with Cendyn, and Ramelli will become senior vice president of e-commerce business development.
Cendyn’s last acquisition was one year ago
when it acquired DigitalHotelier, a
London-based design, revenue management and data intelligence firm. Founded
in 1996, Cendyn merged
with Pegasus and NextGuest
in 2021.
