How to create an efficient digital communication strategy
I’ve been studying digital communication for the past two years and here follows a list of the crucial steps you don’t want to skip to build an efficient and successful digital communication strategy.

The first thing to do is to ask yourself what business goals are you trying to achieve? Do you want to reach new clients, or to build customer loyalty ? Do you want to convince investors to support your business or to rebuild your brand image and identity ? Your goal will be achieved if you start to brainstorm at the very start of your strategy.

What is that you are trying to achieve as you work on your digital communication strategy? Do you aim at reaching investors, marketing your business or improving your internal communication? The starting situation will help you understand what you need to do so that you don’t waste your time or energy.

You want to identify and segment your audience. Different stakeholders use different communication tools. Understand the type of content they find engaging and relevant. By using the right codes, your message will echo within yout target audience. It will feel understood, seen and will more likely engage with your business.
Step 4: Select the most appropriate digital communication tools
You need to choose digital communiation tools regarding where you target audience is active. Pick the ones that specificially align with your goals and audience.
Step 5: Develop your communication strategy
Everyone in your business needs to be engaged and informed. Your strategy must have an identity, must use your target audience’s codes and everyone in your community must abide by them. This will help create a sense of cohesion and belonging in what you work on.
