Thinkific costs $49/month or $499/year (or $20/month if paid annually), but there’s also an option that allows you to upgrade your account later if needed — so it may not be necessary right away!

Marketplaces:

  • Caveatt -is the new platform on the block that works as a way to sell course subscriptions and easily build dynamic courses that convert. It’s completely free to use. With each sale, Caveatt takes a 20% fee + Stripe’s payment processing fee, which is 2.9% + $0.30.
  • Udemy – has over 8 million students and 6,000 instructors creating and selling courses on the platform. It’s a great place for beginners or experts to build a following, but note it costs money (as low as $7 per month) for an instructor account.
  • Skillshare – has over 200,000 students, with thousands of instructors creating content. This is one of my personal favorites, because I’ve seen how many people have launched successful businesses by teaching classes in this network! You don’t need any experience either: just create a profile and start adding videos or writing articles about anything you want!
  • Lynda (LinkedIn Learning) – If you’re an expert in certain subjects and want to teach others how to learn those skills, then this could be an ideal place for you! Like Skillshare above, however, most users don’t pay anything upfront like they do on other platforms like Udemy, so make sure that if someone signs up, they’re still willing/able before making any commitments yourself. So keep those things in mind while considering whether these options make sense, given their respective audiences’ needs compared with yours specifically.”

Have an idea of what you would like to offer your members. There are many factors to consider when creating your membership site. One thing to think about is what you want to offer your members.

Do you have a topic or subject that you would like to teach them?

What skills would they learn from your courses, workshops, and/or coaching programs?

Do you have a product or course that you want to sell?

What type of content do you want to offer, and how often will your members receive it?

All of these factors play a role in determining how much money you make from your membership site.

If you’re going to charge a monthly fee, make sure that the value of what your members get is worth more than the amount they pay. If you’re offering an annual membership, make sure it’s worth more than twelve months’ worth of fees.

Set up your website with good information about your membership, including testimonials, if you have any.

But focus on understanding what information is relevant to your viewers, to ensure you don’t have a ton of mundane or irrelevant content on your website. This will quickly turn away potential members.

Testimonials provide some proof that your membership has been successfully with other members, and that you may be trustworthy.

There are other social media sites you can use, including forums and chat rooms, where people who may be interested in the subject might discuss it. Get involved in those conversations and share your content with them.

Use SEO techniques effectively. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) refers to the process of optimizing content so that it appears higher up in search results on Google, Bing, Yahoo!, etc. It’s not just about keywords, but about creating great content that people want to read, and linking back to other sites whose content complements yours or supports your mission statement (more on this later).

Creating a membership site is a great way to build your brand and get more traffic to your website.

It requires patience, dedication and hard work, but can be well worth it in the end.

3. Write A Blog

You can also make money by creating a blog. The key here is to create a blog that people want to read, so choose topics that interest you and your readers. This could include politics, religion or social issues, education, current trends, and so much more.

  • Check out similar blogs within your niche or industry (or both). What kinds of things do they talk about? Do they post regularly? How frequently do they update their site with new content? By looking at these metrics, it will be easier to determine whether there’s interest in the subject matter that interests you most two, before investing time into creating something original instead — and since there may already be someone else doing this already anyway!

Buy your domain name and hosting from the same provider, if possible. It’s better to make your life as simple as possible, trust me.

Treat your blog like a business. What does this mean? Create a business plan. Your goal should be to gain as many readers as possible, but how will you do this? What are your objectives and goals?

You need to think about what content will attract readers, and how you’ll monetize your site once it’s built up an audience (if at all).

For example, if your site is about travel, write several posts per week related to traveling, to get people interested in reading more posts by clicking on links within those articles.

Podcast. Or perhaps start a podcast, so listeners can hear directly from experts on topics related to travel or other areas they care about.

Sweepstakes or contests. You could also run contests or sweepstakes, where readers can win prizes, such as free hotel stays or flights around the world!

Opposites attract. Start with a partner with complementary skills (or hire someone who does) so that both parties can share responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed by work tasks simultaneously.

Once you’re established and built an audience, don’t be afraid to branch out into other areas. You can do this in various ways, such as by branching into other types of writing or even other areas of your life (if you’re doing something outside of blogging).

As long as your audience remains engaged with what you do on the blog itself, they’ll likely be willing to follow along with whatever else it is that interests them.

Keep writing. Write as often as possible, whether in a journal or on the blog itself. The more content you have to offer, the more likely it is that people will want to read what you have to say.

So how much money can you make as an influencer? A lot if you do it well.

The amount of money you can make as an influencer depends on the size of your audience, how active they are, your niche, and what other opportunities are available to you.

For example, if you have tons of followers, but don’t post often or share clickbait content (which isn’t always lucrative), then it’s unlikely any brand would want to work with you, because there’d be no guarantee that people would actually see the adverts being promoted through your account.

On the other hand, if someone has just started building their following, but has a good strategy for growing it quickly, so that more brands want them as an affiliate/collaborator/whatever word we use when talking about putting ads on my site — then this person could potentially earn more than someone with a smaller following but better engagement rates (i.e., likes + comments).

You can get certified as a resume writer in one of two ways: through the National Resume Writer’s Association (NRWA) or the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW). Certification will help you prove your skills and make you stand out from the competition.

Additionally, if you want to build relationships with potential clients and find work as a professional resume writer, it’s important to join an organization like PARW or NRWA. Organizations like these provide networking opportunities for their members, such as local chapter meetings, where members can meet face-to-face and connect over common interests — like helping others land jobs!

Get tools to help you. Grammarly and Outwrite are some of the best tools I can think of when it comes to checking for grammatical errors, sentence fragmentation, unnecessary words, and quality of writing.

However, their Premium Plan, which costs around $25 per month, offers much more features, such as everything provided in their free plan, full-sentence rewrites, word choice, ton suggestions, citations, and more.

Know where to find clients. Some places you can start finding clients on include places like Fiverr, Upwork, LinkedIn, Craigslist, job boards, and word of mouth.

When you’re trying to make money at anything, always remember what’s most important — adding value to people’s lives. People pay for information; they pay to be helped; they pay for what they need; and they’re willing to pay for what they want.

If you focus only on making money, instead of taking a “people first” approach, it will be incredibly difficult to make real money.
