A digital business card offers a modern and convenient alternative to traditional paper business cards. Unlike their paper counterparts, digital cards allow you to instantly share your contact information with just one click, eliminating the need for manually typing or storing details. This ease of use ensures that your connections have immediate access to your information, reducing the risk of lost or forgotten cards.

Check whether the solution is suitable for you.

Imagine you are at a networking event and want to exchange contact information with another person. What will you do? Spell your name and your phone number, and recipient type them manually.

Is there any way can we speed up this process? The following guide will help you with that. You can simply unlock your phone and ask your contact to scan the QR code displayed, and voilà, all your contact information will be on the recipient’s phone in three clicks.

(Scan the QR code from the screen below)

All your contact information is saved to another person’s phone in just THREE clicks.

Once they save your contact information, they can even share your information with other people (let’s say a hiring manager?) from your link tree website.

If you believe this is what you need, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Create a FREE Linktree Account

Visit: Link in bio tool: Everything you are, in one simple link | Linktree

Step 2:

  1. DELETE all links (red arrows pointed)
  2. Go to Settings (blue arrow)
Delete all links and go the Settings

Step 3:

  1. Click the Add icon button
  2. Select the icon/s you want to add. (I usually go for WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Email)

All icons added will appear on the phone simulator, and you can click them to try.

Step 4:

  1. Click the Add link button
  2. Click the View all apps button
  3. Find the app called Contact Details, and click the Add button beside it
  4. Fill in all your contact information here. All information will be saved on the recipient’s phone.

Again, you can test the function on the phone simulator.

Step 5:

  1. Add your personal website or any other URL link
  2. Make all necessary changes to your new button
  3. Add your resume or any document

Search term ‘PDF’ or ‘Document’ and click the Add button

  • Upload your resume (or any document)
  • Edit the name of the button

Feel free to arrange your buttons in your preferred order by dragging them.

Go to Settings to ensure all icons are on top of the buttons (or not).

Step 6:

  1. Upload your photo and short self-introduction
  2. Choose your preferred design

Scroll down the page to choose your design

Step 7:

  1. Download the QR code
  2. Find a way to save it to your iPhone (You can use email or another creative method.)

Now we are finally done with the linktree !!!!

Step 8:

  1. Download photowidget
  2. Add your QR code to the photowidget app

Now, you can add your QR code to the app.

Step 9: Add a widget to your iPhone screen

  1. Long press your screen until the ‘+’ sign showed

2. Find ‘Photowidget’ or you can search it

You can choose any widget size you prefer. I usually go for the smallest.

3. Follow the instructions on the widget

4. Add your QR code to the widget

Find the album where you store your QR code; it is usually Album1 when you are a first-time user.

5. Done!!

Remember to test it.

Congratulation! Now, you have your digital business card to impress your new friend at the networking event.
